Workspace: death-report
This represents a working directory for Project: 188 - Assessing the accuracy and completeness of death recording in the OpenSAFELY database compared to ONS death registrations in England on all of the secure environments supported by OpenSAFELY.
On each secure environment, the directory includes code from the repository, and the results of running it against real data (“jobs”). Researchers can request jobs are run from this page.
Workspace purpose
To determine what proportion of people have a death record in both ONS and OpenSAFELY-TPP primary care / OpenSAFELY-TPP primary care alone / ONS data alone in England across the time period (2019-2024);
Among people with a recorded date of death in both data sources, compare the similarity of the date of death in England across the time period (2019-2024).
