COVID-19 Vaccine Effectiveness
COVID-19 Vaccine Effectiveness is an OpenSAFELY project from DataLab. Every time a researcher runs their analytic code against patient data, it is audited in public here.
Project ongoing
Investigating COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness in England. The project was initially set up to quickly monitor post-vaccination outcomes and estimate effectiveness in early vaccine recipients (old and clinically vulnerable people) from December 2020 onwards. It has since evolved to cover the expansion of the vaccine roll-out, booster campaigns, etc. This work is led by the Bennett Institute. There is a sister vaccine effectiveness project, led by University of Bristol: https://jobs.opensafely.org/university-of-bristol/investigating-the-effectiveness-of-the-covid-19-vaccination-programme-in-the-uk/ Most of the work in both these projects has involved the same people.
